What's good to know before you start

The questions we get asked most, in one place. Did not find your answer? Write to us and we are glad to help.

What is MySit?

MySit is an Israeli system that brings everything an event needs into one place - WhatsApp RSVPs, seating that updates with the replies, table-finding for guests by scan, and digital gifts. All in Hebrew and English, with real people alongside you.

How is this different from a spreadsheet?

With a spreadsheet you chase every guest by phone, update rows by hand and hope nobody slipped through. Here the guests answer through their own link, the numbers update themselves, and the seating map already knows who confirmed. You look at a live picture instead of maintaining one.

How do the RSVPs work?

You add the guest list and the system sends each person a personal link. The replies come in as they happen, so you see who is coming, who has not answered, and how many seats to hold.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Each guest gets a personal link over WhatsApp, opens it on their phone, and confirms in a few seconds. Finding their table at the event is a simple barcode scan, with nothing to install.

What about guests who have not answered yet?

They sit in their own list, so at any moment you know exactly who is still open. You can send them a reminder through the system, and if someone answers you by phone instead, you just update their reply yourself.

Can a guest change their answer later?

Yes. The personal link stays theirs after they reply, so when plans change they open it again and update, and your numbers move the same moment.

How does the seating work?

You build your hall map with your own tables and seat guests by dragging them into place. The map works against the RSVPs, so every table shows how many seats are taken and how many are free, and a cancellation frees its spot without any manual counting.

How does each guest know where they sit?

At the entrance the guest scans a barcode, types the phone number they confirmed with, and sees their table number right away. No crowded board at the door and no line of guests hunting for their name on a list.

Can we have a designed digital invitation too?

Yes. You build an invitation from a designed template or upload a picture of your own, and it appears at the top of the page every guest opens to confirm. On privacy: the system automatically strips hidden location data from any uploaded photo.

How do the digital gifts work?

Each guest gets a link to your event's gift page and sends from their phone by card or by Bit. The money is collected for you, and you see every gift as it comes in.

Do the gift amounts stay private?

Yes, completely. The amounts that reach you are private, and even when a hall runs the event it never sees them anywhere.

How do I keep track of the gifts?

You see the gifts that came in for the event, who gave and how much has added up so far, and that information is private to you. A hall running your event never sees amounts either.

What are the fees on gifts?

On card and Bit gifts there is no percentage on each gift. You pay a one-time activation fee for gifts on the event, and the exact amount is on the pricing page.

When do we get the gift money?

For card gifts the money moves straight to your bank account within five business days of the event. A gift received by Bit through a direct scan reaches you immediately, under Bit's own terms.

Is the payment secure?

Yes. The clearing runs through Tranzila, card details are typed on their side and never stored with us. All we receive is the payment confirmation.

How does the pricing work and how much does it cost?

You pay once per event, by guest count, with no monthly subscription and no hidden fees. You can see the full prices on the pricing page and start with no credit card.

Can we upgrade the package after paying?

Yes, at any point. If the guest list grows you move up to the bigger package and pay the difference, and everything you already entered stays where it is.

How long does it take to set up an event?

A few minutes. You open an event, add your guest list, and from there everything is ready to send. The seating map can wait for a quiet evening, once the replies are already flowing in.

What happens to guest details after the event?

The details stay yours and serve your event only - we do not sell them or pass them on. After the event you can ask for deletion, and the full picture of what we keep and for how long is on the privacy policy page.

Can I get help if something is unclear?

Of course. A real team is with you from the start, and if something does not work out you can write to us and we will get back to you.
